I have 2 recipes for you today. I have been looking forward to January since the beginning of the semester,
(definitely not because of exams), just because I know I will have time to wake up a bit later and test out some recipes. For all those of you who do not know, January is also called Veganuary as a lot of people tend to try out veganism and do a whole month of being vegan. Now, I’m not going to lie to you, I have not been eating vegan all month, cookies are my downfall, but wherever I cook for myself, I use plant based ingredients more often than not.
It has become a misnomer that non-meat eaters lack protein in their diet. So, here I have two recipes, one sweet and one savoury, both protein packed and quick to make. For all those who have been attempting Veganuary or are just looking for new ideas as to what they can eat for breakfast, keep on reading!
The following is a recipe for some easy to make tofu nuggets which require very little ingredients. I was very impressed with how these turned out so I thought I’d share the recipe with you guys. I am definitely not a chef (not even close), but I do like experimenting in the kitchen.
I made the breadcrumbs myself, however, you can easily find store-bought ones. This is a no hassle recipe as only 3 ingredients are used. No eggs are required for this recipe, so if you’re out of eggs, then this is the recipe for you! Before I continue rambling on, let’s move on to the recipe.
The following are my top 2 Summer drinks for 2017. These are both great for the hot Summer days. The first one is a cooler option to chill by the pool, while the second is a refreshing alternative to drink instead of your usual boring black coffee. I have been loving both of these, especially the Iced Coffee since I’m more of a coffee lover. Hope you enjoy!
