My top 2 drinks for Summer ’17

Hey guys

The following are my top 2 Summer drinks for 2017. These are both great for the hot Summer days. The first one is a cooler option to chill by the pool, while the second is a refreshing alternative to drink instead of your usual boring black coffee. I have been loving both of these, especially the Iced Coffee since I’m more of a coffee lover. Hope you enjoy!

Watermelon Cooler

Serves : 2

2 Green tea teabags

4 handfuls of frozen watermelon

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

1 litre Water

1 tbsp Sugar

1.) Boil 1 litre of water and pour it over the 2 teabags. Let cool and put in refrigerator overnight.

2.) Cut up watermelon into cubes and put in freezer overnight as well.

3.) In the morning, put frozen watermelon in blender along with half of the green tea mixture. Add in the lemon juice and blend on medium speed until it becomes a slushie like texture.

4.) Remove from blender and add in the rest of the green tea mixture.

Note: If you want it to be a bit sweeter, add in the sugar.

Home-made Iced coffee

Serves: 2-10

4tbsp of coffee (enough to fill an ice cube tray)

l litre Water

500ml Milk (I used lactose free Milk)

2tsp vanilla essence (Or any flavour you want, caramel is great too)

1.) Boil some water and mix with coffee. Let cool and put mixture into ice cube tray.

2.) Put tray in freezer and let freeze overnight.

3.) Take the ice cube tray out of the freezer in the morning and let sit for 10 mins. I usually pour some water over it so that I can take them out more quickly.

4.) Pour in vanilla essence, milk and 2 coffee ice cubes in a glass and enjoy!
